Bandits 00 Squirt Minor team wins Championship at JWK tournament

The weekend of January 15th through 19th brought The 2000 Bridgewater Team to Rhode Island to participate in the 41st Annual J.W.K Tournament.
Seventeen other teams from as far as New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia participated in a round robin event where the Bridgewater Bandits finished 4-0.

The Bandits played The Long Island Royals in an exciting semi-final game where the game ended in a 3-3 tie at the end of regulation time. Minutes into the second overtime The Bridgewater Bandits, Ian Nadeau(Turtle) scored to win 4-3. What a game!
The Bandits played The Philadelphia Little Flyers in the final and finished on top by winning 6-2.
It was a combination of solid goal-tending, strong defense, aggressive offensive, supportive coaching and enthusiastic supporters that made this weekend both victorious and memorable for all.
